The major causes of stress n my life would definitely be school and college. I'm so nervous about applying to colleges and getting into school that I am able to easily stress myself out. I am also very stressed with my job. I am a tutor 4 days a week for two different families and doing all the work they require me to do in the small amount of time sometimes stresses me out. I often have to take naps and relaxing breaks but with my busy schedule; there isn't really a lot of time for naps and relaxation. As of right now, when I get stressed out, I often pick up a book to read (usually for school) and read that. IT may not completely calm me down but at least I am doing something while semi-relaxing. Sometimes, I can't help but be stressed out. I should probably try and cope with my stress in a more effective way because it can be dangerous to my help. This is where in between classes I will result to laughing, hanging with friends, eating, or playing games (floor is lava, cops and murderers). I know it may seem childish but it makes me and my friends laugh and probably reduces stress for everyone all around.
Stress is dangerous to everyone in every different ways and can actually lead a person to be overweight or develop an ulsor/ high blood pressure. It can lead to depression and many other things. I think that America is probably one of the most stressful countries to live in because their is so much pressure in everyone's life. There is pressure to hold a job, look good, do well in school, have friends, fit in, have fun, do all your homework, take care of your chores, babysit on Saturdays and Fridays, watch all the right tv shows, update your facebook at least once a day, check your messages, run errands, wear the right clothes, fix your hair right, put on makeup, drive safely, follow the rules, read a book, and in all of this have time to take care of yourself. These are only the things that I do for my life; I'm sure it's very different for some people but if you are any similar to me; it's hard to do everything and keep a smile on your face. I try my best to positive and please everyone and to me- I am only pleased if everyone else is pleased. I mean recently I have had a lot of stress- my mom passed away a few months ago and it's very hard not to be depressed. I keep it fun with my friends and my dad. With these things, I am able to stay positive and happy.
