My first favorite career choice was forensic psychology. I really like the idea of combining science with technology in order to help people. My Second favorite career choice would be the one that I chose. Mine was military psychology and I chose it because I like the idea of helping people who are helping this country. I think that these are the kind of people who not only deserve treatment but have earned it through fighting for our country. The men and women of the military are certainly candidates for post dramatic stress disorder and really deserve the care that they need. My third favorite career choice would be family psychology. I personally really like kids and the idea of having a family so I would want to do anything possible to keep a family together and mentally stable.
In the future, I'm not entirely sure that I will study psychology further. It definitely does interest me a lot but I'm not sure that I will always be this interested. My mom always said that I should find something I love to do and then find a way to get paid for it. I'm not really sure what that is right now but hopefully after taking this course I will be one step closer to finding the job that I have always dreamed of having. Outside of work, I think that psychology is going to be very useful. One of the reasons that I took this class is because I know that there are many people who need help out there and if I ever should run into a situation; I want to have a small background knowledge of their kind of problem.
